Our Story

Mondo & Sons is a four-generation family-owned and operated meat processor/distributor. Over the course of our 92-year history, we have evolved from a butcher shop started by our Grandfather, Mondo Banchero, to a wholesale meat distributor run by our Father Lew, to our current position as a premiere producer and distributor of the highest quality meat products available. Founded in 1931 as a small butcher shop in Seattle’s Rainier Valley, Mondo and Sons quickly earned a reputation as the go-to spot for fresh cuts of meat and fine sausages. Over the years Mondo and Sons' reputation of quality and service has grown, along with our ability to develop and produce our own collection of high-quality products. This collection of products has grown to include many all-natural, as well as hormone and antibiotic-free items
